The Insurance Policy is a way to prepare a space for yourself in the Lifeboat at Spalding Valley Farm. Basically, it's like a "full-time" timeshare cropper - a timeshare cropper with 100 shares. The number of insurance policies available is dependent on the ability of the project to proof the carrying capacity of the property, with new spots becoming available as we develop the capacity of the farm to provide food, shelter, and water to folks on the farm.
