Being a timeshare cropper is like having a timeshare on a 16-person homestead. You are a part-time, long-term partner in the experiment of creating a regenerative, resilient model at Spalding Valley Farm.

There are many benefits of being a timeshare cropper including:

  • A chance to reconnect with the land in a meaningful way across the different seasons and years.
  • A chance to reconnect with other kindred spirits looking to live in relationship with the land.
  • Allows people to keep one foot in multiple worlds
  • Allows people of modest means to invest in land.

As a timeshare cropper, the number of shares you own determines the amount of time you can spend on the farm, with two shares representing one week per year per person.

Options are available to purchase shares over time, including work-to-own options. You might also consider the "Insurance Policy" option.
